In recent days, Science & Technology Department of Hebei Province officially consented to establish the Technology Research Institute for Fastener Industry.
It was formally announced that the establishment of this Research Institute was initiated by Yongnian Research Institute for Standard Parts and Hebei University of Engineering, allying with other universities or groups e.g. Hebei YongYang Special-Steel Group Co., Ltd., Hebei University of Technology, Hebei Hanguang Industry Co., Ltd., Hebei Boxline Automation Co., Ltd., Handan City Meijianli Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Handan Polytechnic College.
According to the announcement, the Research Institute would be provided with 83 researchers and 150 sets of R&D equipments. Four R&D Centers and two Open Service Centers would be set as well—Advanced Manufacturing Technology R&D Center for Fasteners,R&D Centers for Material Preparation & Steel Modification, R&D Centers for Production Automation Equipments, R&D Center for New Products, Engineering Center for Mould Development, and Analysis Center for Quality Inspection.
The establishment of this Research Center aims to develop the precision shaping of fasteners and key technologies regarding production of fasteners, which would offer great help to the transformation & upgrading of Fastener Industry in Hebei Province.
