U.S. fastener imports of iron and steel fasteners (HTS Code: 7318) decreased 13% month-to-month to $376,637,457 in November and exports dropped 10% to $313,950,564.

The top five imported countries/regions of origin for U.S. fasteners during November were Chinese Taiwan ( down 12.47% month-to-month to $113.06 million); Mainland China (down 16.30% to $85.80 million); Japan (down 10.13% to $50.03 million); Germany (down 12.71% to $28.36 million); and Canada (down 17.41% to $21.91 million).
The top five consumers of U.S. fastener exports in November were Mexico (down 4.39% month-to-month to $113.91 million); Canada (down 12.93% to $85.10 million); UK (down 15.07% to $13.64 million); Mainland China (down 11.29% to $12.10 million) and Germany (down 3.87% to $9.20 million).
