Altos Hornos de México (AHMSA), an integrated steel plant in Mexico, reported that it had a net profit of 358 million pesos in 2021, compared to net loss of 2.18 billion pesos in the previous year.
In 2021, AHMSA’s EBITDA totaled US$123 million, higher than the loss in EBITDA of US$44 million. EBITDA is the only dollar-denominated indicator for AHMSA.
Besides, AHMSA’s net income also had a year-on-year increase of 145.8% in 2021, reaching 12.68 billion pesos.
