UDIB: fastener market to remain strong in 2018-The 19th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the report, the Italian association of fastener distributors (Unione Distributori Italiani Bulloneria, UDIB) has recently held a conference in Torino. They mainly discussed the operation in 2017 and predicted the market trend in 2018. The Italian gross domestic product (GDP) reached about 1.5% in 2017 and that in 2018 was estimated to reach 1.4%.
In October 2017, the Italian fastener exported to non-European countries increased by 11.2% compared to the same period in the previous year. In the meanwhile, the Italian fastener manufacturers'' turnover was up by 6~10% averagely, and the price also increased by about 15%. Some market participants expected that the fastener market would remain strong in the future.
