Korea’s hot-rolled stainless steel exports increased, imports fell-The 17th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the Korea Iron and Steel Association data released in September, Korea’s stainless steel hot-rolled coil exports reached 63430 tons, an increase of 2.4% month on month.
However, most Korean steel makers were significantly reduced in most export markets, but exported to the Chinese and Taiwan increased significantly of hot-rolled stainless steel coils, for 16.1% and 72.2% month on month, respectively.
Ob the other hand, Korea’s hot-rolled stainless steel imports fell 8% month on month in September. Expects Japan, most import sources have declined. Among them, Korea’s hot-rolled stainless steel imports fell 10.2% from China.
