A group of figures in “nuclear power development and long-term plan " which was promulgated by national development and Reform Commission in 2007, shows that there will be a 450billion investment in the next 15years. With the rapid development of china large nuclear power stations, localization process of nuclear power plants equipment accelerates obviously, and the requirement of localization stainless steel seamless tube used in nuclear power is becoming urgent.
In this report, we introduce the characteristics and quality requirement of the tubes for nuclear power, and analyze the problems and localization process of seamless tubes for nuclear pipe system. Besides the suggestions and improving ideas on localization of seamless tubes for nuclear power that we have offered in the report, we also evaluated the demand for stainless steel tube in nuclear power from 2005-2010。
