Taiwan’s stainless steel exports decline in Oct-The 21st China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the statistics from the Taiwanese government, the total exports of stainless steel in the first 10 months of this year were around 982,000 tons, decreased by 16% year on year.
Among them, the hot-rolled stainless steel coil had faced the largest decline, by a 24% decreased year on year.
However, the main reason for the decline of stainless steel exports from Taiwan was evaluated to be influenced by global anti-dumping policies.
The total stainless steel exports in October were around 94,000 tons, flat by month on month, but decreased by 8% year on year.
