Chinese stainless steel output increases in Apr m-o-m, y-o-y-The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to statistics, China produced a total of around 2.34 million tons of stainless steel in April, up by 0.03% from the previous month and by 12.08% compared to the same month a year ago.
Among them, the output of 300 series was around 1.17 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 4.7%. The decrease in output of 300 series was due to the southern steel mills’ adjustment of 300 series to 200 series. The output of 400 series had a month-on-month drop of 0.41% to 360,000 tons roughly, and that of 200 series increased by 7.98% month on month to approximately 810,000 tons.
