ISSF: Global stainless steel production hikes in Jan-Sep-The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the statistics released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), global stainless steel production reached around 39 million tons in the period from January to September, rising by 10% compared to the same period a year earlier.
Among them, the production from China was up by 8.5% year on year; that from Asia (excluding China and South Korea) rose by 4.8% year on year; that from the US had a year-on-year hike of 4%; that from the EU climbed by 1.6% from the same period last year.
