The surcharges of US’s stainless steel plate was up in June, because the slight increase in nickel prices offset the slight increase in molybdenum prices.
North American Stainless (NAS), ATI Allegheny Ludlum, AK Steel and Outokumpu Coil Americas announced June their surcharges of cold-rolled stainless steel plate for June.
According to the adjustment, the surcharge for Grade 304 was US$73.24-76.84 cents/lb, up from May’s US$71.34-74.94 cents/lb; that for Grade 316 was US$102.5-106.1 cents/lb, up from May’s US$101.3-104.5 cents/lb; that for Grade 430 was US$29.69-33.29 cents/lb, up from May’s US$26.69-33.29 cents/lb.
