According to the latest statistics released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) on March 15th, the production of global stainless steel crude steel totaled around 48.08 million tons in 2017, up by 5.8% year on year, but the increase showed a significant drop from 10.2% in 2016.
Among them, the production of stainless steel crude steel from Europe, Asia (excluding China), the United States and China had a year-on-year increase in 2017, and that from other countries, including Brazil, Russia, South Africa, South Korea and Indonesia, also rose significantly.
