NAS increases prices for stainless steel products & freight-The 19th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the report, North American Steel (NAS), which was a subsidiary of Acerinox, has increased the product prices since January 1st. Among them, the price of hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel and bars will be increased by US$40/ton, and that of some wire rods will be increased by US$20/ton.
Due to the cost of shipping rose, the NAS decided to increase the average price of freight by 20% since January 15th. They explained the specific freight will be adjusted by shipping routes or destinations.
