According to data released by China’s customs, China’s exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 168,736 tons in October, up by 6.2% from a month ago.
In October, the exports of stainless steel flat products made to Taiwan totaled 61,292 tons, rising by 26.3% month on month,

Industry sources indicated that the rise in exports of stainless steel flat products was driven by a rush of bookings before the Taiwanese government’s introduction of antidumping duties on imports of cold rolled stainless steel products from China.
