Japanese stainless steel production increases in Sep -The 19th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the announcement from Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the production of Japanese stainless steel product totaled around 247,600 tons in September, up by 0.6% month on month, and up by 0.9% year on year.
Among them, the stainless steel products of chromium were around 110,660 tons, down by 12.8% from the same period of last month; those of nickel were around 136,960 tons, increasing by 15% from the same period a month ago; those of the remaining special steel were around 7,420 tons, rising by 0.9% from the same period a month earlier.
