MEPS: Global stainless steel production expects to reach new high for 2017-The 19th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to MEPS, the British steel consultancy, predicted that the world stainless steel production this year would reach about 47.5 million tons, and that the world crude steel production would increase to 49 million tons next year, keeping the upward trend.
China''s crude steel production fell further in the second quarter of this year, mainly due to the government continued to conduct environment protection policies. In addition, Japan''s stainless steel production would reach to 3.125 million tons this year. The US stainless steel production might reach to 2.75 million tons; Europe this year might reach to 7.35 million tons.
