According to data,
Taiwan’s imports of stainless steel scraps totaled 17,931 tons in October,
rising by 43% in comparison of 12,500 tons from a month ago.
In October,
the country’s import prices of stainless steel scraps averaged at NT$41,254/ton,
almost remaining flat from NT$41,253/ton in September.
In the
January-October period, Taiwan’s imports of stainless steel scraps amounted to
around 200,000 tons.
