According to International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) released data statistics showed that the global stainless crude steel production was 11.763 million tons in January-March of this year, up by 14.5% compared with 10.274 million tons in the same period last year.
In the first half of 2017, Chinese stainless steel production fell by 3.1% in April-June, compared with previous quarter of this year. Although the production in April-June was usually the highest in a year, but this year''s production has fallen, becoming one of main factor to hike stainless steel prices in June-July of this year.
