Stainless steel surcharge increases in North America for Aug-The 19th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

It is reported that major stainless steel manufacturers in North America have decided to raise their August stainless steel surcharge by rising average price for nickel. North American stainless steel manufacturers, including North America Stainless (NAS), AK Steel and Allegheny Ludlum (ATI) and other major industries, would increase 304 stainless steel surcharge by 44.43 ~ 44.47 cents/lb, increased by 2.8% compared with previous month. Meanwhile, the North American mill’s to adjust down 316 stainless steel surcharge for August. 316 stainless Steel surcharge was at 57.74 ~ 57.82 cents/lb, declined by 1.6% compared with previous month.
