Japanese stainless steel production increases for Mar-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan announced that Japanese stainless steel products (hot rolled products) production of 245,106 tons in March 2017, increased by 5.2% compared with last February, increased by 8.1% compared with the same period of last year.
Among them, Japanese chromium type production was 108,460 tons (chromium type: 86,150 tons, chromium molybdenum type: 22,310 tons), down by 95 tons compared with last February; nickel type production was 136,646 tons (Chromium manganese type: 1272 tons, chromium nickel type: 105,519 tons, chromium nickel molybdenum type: 29855 tons), increased by 9.9% compared with previous month.
