According to US Department of Commerce announced the result of anti-dumping investigation in March. The duties apply to certain carbon steel and alloy steel, which were used for buildings and mechanical components.
USITC decided to impose anti-dumping duties from Japan and France, including the anti-dumping duty rate for JFE Holdings, Inc. was 48.67%; that for TOKYO STEEL CO., LTD. was 17.79% and that for France manufacturers rates were set at 148.02%.
In addition, US also imposed countervailing duties from Korea and imposed anti-dumping duties from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Taiwan.
