Japanese stainless steel scrap imports up for Mar-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the Ministry of Finance statistics showed in March of this year, Japanese stainless steel scrap imports totaled 10,378 tons, increased by 35.7% compared with the same period of last year. The average monthly import price was at ￥147,837/ton, dropped by 1.7% compared with previous month.
Meanwhile, not only the price of LME nickel has been fallen not in March, but also average import prices from Taiwan and the United States have been fallen further.
