Taiwan’s Yieh Hsing to hike stainless steel wire rod prices for Mar-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

It’s reported that Yieh Hsing Enterprise, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan released its price policy for March. The company decided to hike list prices for stainless steel wire rods by NT$1,500/ton. Meanwhile, the company also hike its carbon steel wire rod prices by NT$1,500/ton.
As nickel price remained at high level, there is no reason for mills to trim the prices. In the meantime, the mills’ operation costs continue to rise which drives steel prices up further.
