According to the Korea Iron and Steel Association statistics showed in January, South Korean stainless hot-rolled steel strip imports totaled 43,028 tons, down by 2.4% compared with last month, including imports from China, accounting for 65.4% of the total imports.
Despite the recent market is insufficient supply of stainless hot-rolled steel in China and South Korean stainless hot-rolled steel imports remained at about 40,000 tons.
Since last November, China''s exports to South Korea offers substantial increases and insufficient supply situation in China, imports may be gradually reduced in the future.
