According to International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) released on December 20th, global stainless crude steel production reached 33.59 million tons in the third quarter of 2016, increased by 7%, to 31.4 million tons compared with the same period last year.
China is still the main country driving global stainless steel production growth.
Seen from the main stainless steel-producing countries and regions in the first three quarters, Asia (except China), Western Europe/Africa, Americas stainless steel crude steel production remained, Central and Eastern Europe have dropped further, respectively.
