South Africa''s ferrochrome supplier announced to sign the chrome export contract of 165 cents/lb for the first quarter, 2017 with European mills. It hiked 55 cents/lb compare to the fourth quarter in 2016.
The increase reached to 50%. Stimulated by the sharp rise of chrome and nickel, Taiwanese stainless steel mills are sure to rise the price for first quarter of 2017.
