According to the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) recently released the latest statistics show 2016 global stainless steel production in the first half was 22.07 million tons, an increase of 4.1%, to 21.2 million tons compared to the same period of last year.
In Asia, China in particular is the main motivating factor. China and Asia production remains upward trend, Western Europe, Africa, Americas and Eastern Europe all have declined.
