Fabrication services provider Robinson Metal Inc., DePere, Wis., has created a segregated area within its 175,000-sq.-ft. facility for stainless steel fabrication. That area has a 5-ton lifting capacity.
Employees in the stainless steel area use dedicated equipment and tools, tables, and workbenches clad in stainless steel to ensure there is no impregnation of carbon into the stainless steel parts. This helps ensure the stainless projects being produced are without contamination that will cause corrosion.
