According to Japan Iron and Steel Federation statistics, in June this year Japan imported 16,781 tons of stainless steel products, fell 3.6% month on month; imported 17,495 tons last May.
Among them, Japan’s stainless steel imports from Korea fell 6.1% month on month; Japan’s stainless steel imports from Taiwan rose 12.7% month on month; imports from China fell 23.1% month on month, because of Korea imports continued to fall, resulting in total imports is lower than last month.
